ADDISON EDUCATION - TERMS AND CONDITIONS Addison Education is an inclusive training and support provider for schools and children's services. We specialize in working with academies, local authorities, clusters and individual schools. Our work embraces schools both in the maintained and private sectors. Our paramount aim is to ensure effective outcomes for children. With courses, conferences and bespoke training we can build on current strengths to achieve and maintain excellence for all children regardless of barriers. Our work is based in the UK but we also work internationally. Consultants are experienced and fully committed educationalists with excellent track records. They include effective senior managers through to outstanding teachers, advisers and inspectors. All our work is rigorously quality assured.   Below you will find our terms and conditions. 1. Terms applying to all users of the Addison Education website. Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use ('Terms') carefully before using www.addisoneducation.co.uk ('the Website'). In these Terms, 'we', 'us' and 'Addison Education' means: Addison  Education, Addison House, 37, Addison Road, Barbourne, Worcester, Worcestershire which is the owner of this Website and the Addison Education trademark and brand, and 'you' means the user of  this Website. We reserve the right to withdraw all or part of the Website at any time. By using this Website you agree to be bound by these Terms. Whilst we try to ensure that the Website does not  contain any error, defect, malfunction or corruption, we do not accept responsibility for any damage to or loss of data on your computer system, network or server that results from the download or use of the Website or any materials made available via the Website (except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Whilst we try to ensure that the website is accessible at all times there  may be a need to have a period of 'down time' while updates are processed. We will endeavour to keep any 'down time' to a minimum. You accept that you will not have a claim for breach of move next contract (either against us or any Addison Education colleague) or otherwise in respect of such period of unavailability. You also acknowledge that we cannot be held responsible for any delay or disruptions that are inherent in the operation of the Internet and the World Wide Web, including viruses. We shall not be liable to you for any of the following types of loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or any of the content and/or facilities provided via the Website:   any loss of profits, loss of earnings, loss of anticipated savings, goodwill or revenue;   any loss or corruption of data; or   any indirect or consequential loss. The exclusions and limitations of liability contained in this section do not apply to:   any loss or damage resulting from death or personal injury caused by our negligence;   loss or damages arising from our fraudulent misrepresentation; or   any other losses that may not be excluded or limited by law. Each provision of this Paragraph shall be construed separately as between you and us. If either we or you fail to enforce, or delay in enforcing, any of our respective rights or remedies under these Terms, such failure or delay shall not operate as an agreement to waive that right or remedy, and shall not prevent us from  exercising that right or remedy in the future. These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute arising between us under or in connection with these  terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 2. Purpose of the Website The purpose of the Website is to provide individuals and businesses with information on the range of courses, locations, products and other services offered by or via Addison Education.   Please note that the courses advertised on this Website are provided and approved by Addison Education. 3. Third Party Links We may provide links to third-party websites from time to time. This may include links to sites owned by associated companies of Addison Education. Any links (including without limitation any links  posted by other users of the Website) are provided for your convenience only and are accessed at your own risk. We are not responsible in any way for the content of any third party website or for  goods or services provided by the operators of such websites, and, unless otherwise stated are not responsible for and do not endorse or recommend any third party website or its availability or  contents or any agreement or understanding you enter into with a third party through a third party website. If you choose to use any of the links provided, you should read the terms and conditions and privacy statement of the third party website. Addison Education does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, expense, costs or liability whatsoever incurred by you in respect of these third party websites.   4. Amendments to the Terms We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. When we make a change we will update this page of the Website. If we do so, the updated version will be effective as soon as it is  uploaded on to this Website. We recommend that you visit this page each time you visit the Website to ensure that you are aware of and are complying with any changes that we have made to these Terms. If you continue to use the Website you will be deemed to have accepted those changes from the point at which they come into effect. 5. Terms of Sale Payment  All fees for training and bespoke support, including any additional transfer charges, are due in full prior to the event taking place. Arrangement for payment after the event date must be made prior to move the course. Where such arrangements have been agreed all fees must then be paid within 28 days of the event taking place.  We reserve the right to charge interest at a rate of 3% above Lloyds TSB base rate on overdue invoices. Cancellation   All cancellations must be received in writing through our website 'contact us' section, or by telephone. The following stipulations apply: - 20 + days notice  - 100% returned. 10 - 20 days notice  - 50% returned Less than 10 days  - 0% returned Transferring Courses A delegate may transfer from one course to another, or transfer their course to another person. All transfers must take place at least 10 days before an event. There will be no transfer fees. Cancellation of Courses and Changes to Content  Addison Education's courses are constantly updated and improved and we reserve the right to alter any of the courses' content without prior notice.  Addison Education will make every effort to  provide the services as specified, but, if for any reason beyond its control it fails to do so, neither Addison Education Limited nor its director or consultants shall be liable for any resulting loss or  damage.  In such circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund. Authorisation By submitting a booking to us, by whatever means, you are acknowledging that you have received authorisation for this expenditure from the relevant person at your institution. Legal interpretation The materials, training and courses provided by Addison Education Limited cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation.  Neither Addison Education Limited nor its consultants can accept  responsibility for delegates' actions, or those of other people reading the course notes or interpreting the training in litigation, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the training notes. Money Back Guarantee Should a client feel that the course or bespoke training provided is not effective and will not have an impact on the children they teach, they should submit an application in writing to: - Addison Education Customer Services Addison House 37, Addison Road Worcester WR3 8EA This must be sent within five working days of the date of the training.
